I have to admit that February was by far my least productive month in a long time. I got so overwhelmed with burnout that I didn’t even notice it was affecting me until I started experiencing random symptoms of chest pain, depression, anxiety and little to no interest in things. My body was screaming at me to relax, find a healthy headspace, recharge and most importantly organize myself. Organization is key to dealing with burnout and a sense of feeling overwhelmed because it gives you structure instead of anxiety from your never ending almost impossible to-do list. I’ve always had an issue with organization and try my best not to fall through the cracks of getting things done. This why I decided that March would be the polar opposite of February. March would be my most productive month so far. I’ve got a lot of things due this month! First of all, we’re half way through the semester, which means projects and essays are piling up. The plus side is that it’s getting brighter and warmer outside. Usually I thrive for darker evenings but lately, my most productive time is when the sun is shining right into my bright white room. In the video below, I share with you my monthly and weekly goals and a break down of how I plan on accomplishing all my tasks. Let me know how you’re planning on being productive down in the comments below!
